Tri-County Marine is proud to support each member of our outstanding Pro Staff.  The Pro Staff consists of six awesome men and women.  They are listed below with their boat/motor combination and time on the Pro Staff.  Check back often.  As we gather information, each team member will have a short profile and pictures. Bryan Thrift

Bite my hook.  I'll make ya famous! Bryan is from Shelby, NC and has been on an unbelieveable roll!  In 2005 Bryan won two Stren Series Southest Division Tournaments as a Co-Angler (Santee Cooper and Lake Eufaula).  He followed that up in 2006 by winning the Stren Series Southeast Division Tournament on Okeechobee as a Professional.  Read more about Bryan on his FLW Angler Profile page Bryan Thrift

Louie Hull

Louie Hull is a resident of Casar, NC.  He is a regular participant in the J & J Winter Trail on Lake Norman, NC.  He is a previous First Place Champion and Big Fish for the trail winner.  Louie's other accomplishments include the following: Together with Andy Montgomery, First Place, 2006 NBC National Championship www.national-bass.com First Place, Burke Bassmasters, Lake Hickory, NC Second Place, Castle Bridge Trail, Lake Hickory, NC First Place and Big Fish, CATT, Lake Wylie, NC Sixth Place, 20th Annual Tri-State Tournament, Lake Wateree, SC Tenth Place and Big Fish, NBC Regional, Lake Murray, SC Louie is also the Co-Owner of Shooter Lures.  Check it out here:

Andy Montgomery

Andy is from Blacksburg, SC.   Andy won the Wal-Mart FLW Tour Division as a Co-Angler in 2006.  He followed that up with a second place finish in the Tour Championship.  In addition, Andy fished the Stren Series as a professional in 2005 and 2006 and qualified for the Championship both years!  Read more about Andy on his FLW Angler Profile page Andy Montgomery Together with Louie Hull, First Place, 2006 NBC National Championship www.national-bass.com

Paul Guthrie

Paul was one of Tri-County Marine's first pro staff members, dating back to 1993.  Paul heads up the annual Tri-County Marine fishing tournament and is a great asset around the store.  He has also assisted Stratos Boats with two Bassmaster Citgo Classics and three World Stratos/Javelin Championships.  Paul has a vast knowledge of  tournaments, gained from performing tournament director duties for the Hospice Battle of the Clubs, USPS Postal Service,  MDA and Tri-County Marine tournaments.   Paul is an avid fisherman of the Catawba River chain of lakes.  Paul is willing to lend a hand if you need help with an event held on any of the Catawba River lakes!  Just call him at 828-496-8686.   Look for Paul on the water in his new 2007 Stratos 201ProXL with a 300 Yamaha.

Mary Hencken

Mary Hencken made her first cast 35 years ago when her father put a open-faced spinning reel in her hand and said, "This is how you tie, this is how you cast,  this is how you catch!"    Mary has fished the last three years as a Pro, finishing 24th for angler of the year in 2005, 17th for angler of the year 2006 and 14th for angler of the year 2007, Womens BassMaster Tour.  Mary lives on Lake Wylie in Belmont North Carolina.  Mary loves fishing so much she quit her job as a physical therapist and can now be found working behind the reel counter at Bass Pro Shop in Concord, NC.  Now that's dedication!   Mary runs a 2006 Stratos 201PROXL with a 250 Yamaha.
